There is jouissance only of the void: the void of the function of significance that brings into play enunciative speech. This is to say that there is no a priori significance, and as it is only supposed, it is based on what it is presumed to imply. The consequences of this relation to the void are therefore decisive, producing a world as the Other to which the subject refers, and in which he moves: this Other being a source of signifiers following their complex and serialized development on several dimensions. The void enters henceforth in their countdown, basing them on zero: no signifier without a subject that depends on it to carry it, yet again according to the signified effects that are induced.
