Neighbor relationships are an important institution in Turkey. This article uses a social network analysis to determine the neighbor relationships specificities in urban Turkey. It presents the different ways to neighbor and determine the different spaces and times of neighbor relationships, with insisting on seasonal variations. The study of the neighbor network permits then to determine individual characteristics that influence the propensity to entertain neighbor relationships and shows the role of housewives and their regular meetings in the extension and the cohesion of the network.
