Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Hamas’s attack on Israel, but also Azerbaijan’s offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh and already the war in Syria, show that international order and law that were established after 1945 no longer exist. We must therefore resume political work to mediate conflicts.
