Overview of non-qualification: A lack of career prospects when work is low-qualified
Type de matériel :
64
This statistical work highlights the diversity of forms of non-qualification, combining the characteristics of individuals, their jobs, and the work they do. The third register, that of work, characterizes both its content and the conditions in which it is carried out. The article presents a methodology for defining the perimeter of this register, based on the intersection of characteristics relating to organizational contexts and employees’ work activities. Taking this dimension into account shows that although they are graduates and better paid, 14% of employees are in a situation of “hidden” non-qualification. This employee category, less targeted by public policies, is nevertheless evolving in a context little conducive to learning, which does not allow the development of skills needed in order to progress in the labor market.
