Reciprocity in homosexuality

Could having a body that is anatomically similar—although not identical—, with the same configuration of orifices, be one of the sources of homosexual attraction? The author, in response to this question, examines the analytical literature, including the notions of narcissism and choice of sexual objects such as those introduced by Freud in 1914. They bring to the theme of reciprocity between two persons of the same sex the link that connects the body with the need for sexual desire.
