This article traces the history of the relationship between Françoise Dolto and the founders of the School of La Neuville, from the latter’s point of view. Transmission occurred through the way in which part of her pedagogical approach was passed on to young people whose journey she would follow in an uninterrupted dialogue from the day of their meeting until her death. This support, respectful of their desire, is what would allow these teachers, once left to their own devices, to continue their work with the same creativity as when they worked alongside her.
