Sustainability of Territorial Resources and Sustainable Tourism: Toward What Convergence?

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2008. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The desire to generalize observations about industrial districts and localized productive systems leads to a particular interpretation of territorial dynamics in terms of resources. However, advances in research contribute to renewing the content of public policies. Such policies in the field of tourism, especially in terms of sustainable tourism, now rely on these concepts and question the dissemination and generalization of a specific development model. After highlighting the characteristic properties of localized tourism systems in relation to the original concept, this paper explores the renewal of the tourism development model in winter sports resorts. To this end, we base this presentation on two suburban mid-mountain resorts near Grenoble (France). © 2008 Lavoisier, Paris.
