Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2016. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Based on two surveys, this article explores the potential for changing the travel behavior of inhabitants of peri-urban areas in the Paris region, and the conditions that could foster behavioral changes toward more sustainable practices. Four trends appear favorable for changes in travel behavior: (1) a profound reorganization of public transport; (2) more flexible working conditions (home-based teleworking); (3) a significant increase in oil prices; and (4) the development of local resources, primarily at the municipal level, which should lead to inhabitants carrying out more everyday activities in their municipality of residence.
