Not to psychologise social problems Interview with Vincent de GaulejacDuring this interview, Vincent de Gaulejac claims that the psychotherapist cannot not consider the social genesis of psychic problems, of what his client experiences in the society, not only his station in relation to that of his parents, but also what he experiences in his work. Gaulejac also maintains that the psychotherapist’s office is not adequate for certain psychic conflicts originating socially, these being better treated in groups.
