The author recalls a time in her practice as a supervisor during her supervision training. She articulates a poetical-theoretic reflection regarding those moments in her practice which are centered on affection, lived experience, emotion. She shares her internal process while still maintaining her vigilance to stay open to the person she is supervising. Their own problematics are echoing those of the client with the supervised. The author works as close as possible to the emergence of the id, of the emotion, and then returns to the thinking process and its elaboration.
