Finitude: Chance for Growth or Break-Up in Couples Therapy
Type de matériel :
91
Contrary to individual therapy, couples’therapy is organized around the possibility of the end of the couple. The alternation of figure/background between couple and individuals accompanies the process of “growth and finality”. The authors develop five hypotheses of work to identify this process within the couple: hierarchy, differentiation, detachment from trans-generational models, existential wounds and commitment. They propose one or another of these directions as levers to accompany the couples in a process of growth, giving priority to the repositioning of responsibility for the crisis onto the couple as a system.
