Although they know nothing about the secrets that go back several generations, they are affected because the family has become a family of secrets, that is, of silence and obliviousness. This can lead to repeated failures in the patient’s life, to strange reproductions. How can we welcome these symptom-laden patients, discern a crack in the silence and help them to reconstruct a more lucid relationship with the environment, without turning the situation into a detective novel. This is what the three examples show.
