The Secret Service of the Free French Forces: The Central Bureau of Intelligence and Operations (BCRA), 1940-1944
Type de matériel :

From 1940 to 1944, the bcra worked with the Allied secret services to establish liaison between the Free French and those in France who joined the Resistance movements and networks. It was a powerful instrument that served de Gaulle’s ambitions, asserting French sovereignty in front of the Allies, and state authority in front of the lead-ers of resistance organisations in France. At the same time, it secured for itself an important position in the Gaullist state under construction.
