Type de matériel :

Despite the rise of participatory perspectives in child protection frameworks and the shared belief in its democratic and emancipatory interest, the concrete effectiveness of child participation in care services is difficult to assess. The views of professionals in a foster care service were gathered and analyzed in a project carried out by researchers in education science. The stakes of participatory practices, but also their paradoxes and deployment contexts, as well as their anchoring in deep educational representations, are clear.
