Alain Bozza is a clinical psychologist and cofounder of the CHRS Henri Wallon, where he worked for twenty-five years. Born from the desire of relatives, professionals, and a group of patients suffering from psychosis, this system experimented with an innovative clinic that anticipated the recommendations of the 2002-2 law by more than twenty years. In a fascinating commentary, the book that this text proposes to review relates how this team—starting from praxis and psychoanalytic ethics—allowed itself to be taught by the “trainees” of the CHRS in order to rethink the orientations of the support project by questioning its “failures.” The daring gamble formulated by these pioneers was nothing less than to support these psychotic subjects “to get back in the saddle,” starting with taking their request for social reintegration through work seriously.
