The end of life or endless lives for elderly people in long-term care?
Type de matériel :
9
For some, ending one’s life in long-term care is a long and endless death, while for others it is a kind of ultimate care. Death can be experienced as a final stage, and experienced well when it is well anticipated and accompanied. But it can also be feared and experienced as an endless end for very elderly people in care homes. Do we have to die quickly and silently, or can we leave time to listen to what is still being whispered on the edge of life?
