In a very tense world wheat market, especially since the start of the war in Ukraine, Asia is playing an important and growing role. The two major countries involved, China and India, are both producers and importers. Other countries are seeing their consumption increase, due to urbanization and the consequent change in eating habits. This new situation calls into question European agricultural policy.
