The occupation of lawyer saw a situation of collective faintness which is explained by the tension between the uncertainty of the future and the brittleness of a profession which, in the three last decades, changed more than during the two previous centuries. This period was dominated by the development of the Bar of businesses and an accelerated demographic growth. They were the leavens of a feeling of large crisis, with an increasing influence of logics of market on the practices. In the heart of this idea of crisis, one finds: uncertainties on the identity of the profession, concerns on the risks of the hyper-specialisation for the unit of the profession like organized group, heavy tendencies to the increase in the variations of incomes between the various categories of lawyers or legal advisers.
