The relation between culture and politics represents one of the most discussed topics from the point of view of social sciences, as the difference between high culture and popular culture. From two complimentary standpoints: firstly, relating to difficulties that the cultural politics of State-nations are confronted with, as in the exemple of France because of the fact that the objective of cultural democratization has not been achieved, and then, bringing cultural politics into question by the process of liberal mondialisation. It is in this context, that the cultural exception is replaced by cultural diversity including linguistic diversity, defended by Francophony.
