Hepatology at the 2022 ANGH congress

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2023. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Five hepatology research submissions were presented at 2022 ANGH congress. First was a French multicentric study on the evaluation of hepatitis B Delta knowledge and practices. All HBsAg-positive patients must undergo a systematic search for a Delta infection. The second submission presented the preliminary results of the VULNAPSYS-C study, which looked at the psychological vulnerability factors linked to hepatitis C virus re-infections. Actions targeted at the most at-risk patients are essential for helping to eliminate the virus in France. The third submission detailed the four missions carried out by the Breton association BASE on HBsAg screening in Benin. The policy of routine vaccination of infants at birth should lead to a reduction in the prevalence of hepatitis B and its complications in Benin. Fourth was a French monocentric study on knowledge and practices relating to identification and management of alcohol use disorder, which showed the difficulties hospital doctors encounter in identifying and managing these disorders. The fifth and final submission was a practical study on the ambulatory ascites puncture in a non-university hospital center, which showed that puncture methods are homogeneous on the whole.
