The collective dynamic, which has been weakened and then forgotten, is at the root of humanity’s most ambitious past projects, as well as of those that are still to come. Central to human interaction, communication demonstrates that the participatory relation is the basis for everything that can be imagined, created, and accomplished. Five examples are presented to show how contribution, the ultimate dimension of thinking and working together, relies on collective intelligence and the interpersonal inclinations within a group, transcending the accumulation of knowledge and methods.
