Inflexions meets a brother and sister nearing retirement, whose father died in a prisoner-of-war camp in Indochina. This article does not focus on the sociological or scientific aspects of the subject, but simply describes an encounter. The brother appears very detached from the subject, while his sister is hungry for details about the life of a father she never met. He does not want to make a fuss about the situation and insists on how happy he is, she talks of her loneliness as a teenager and a “double punishment”. However, both admit that they are looking for their father.
