This article looks at listening to children confronted with their parent’s illness, in order to approach the reality of their psychic life and to accompany them in their capacity to integrate reality. Media such as games, drawings or tales allow the creativity of the unconscious to emerge, translating what cannot be named, but also the child’s intuitive knowledge of what is going on around him and within him. The Jungian approach enriches this reflection and places us in a symbolic language suitable to the liberating expression of affects.
