Letter from Galicia: Mobility in the treatment of psychosis

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2016. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In this article we analyze, from different perspectives, the concept of mobility in the care management process for psychosis. The psychiatric reform and deinstitutionalization movements originally introduced a certain mobility characterized by the emergence of intermediate and progressive dependency mechanisms in general health policies. The support space given to serious mental disorder (SMD)2 is diffuse and scattered, making it necessary to circumscribe the central point of care and its relationship to the phenomenology of inhabiting. Continuity of care and medical consultation are the two fundamental clinical elements in a mobility that enables the satisfactory liaison between the clinical, the ethical, and questions of care. Here we review the historical background of the mobile mental health teams in Galicia, along with the theoretical foundations and procedures for the establishment of dynamic community services in the area of Santiago de Compostela.
