Women victims of sexual assault experience a trauma that can give rise to a dissociative state. The resulting mind-body split can bring about psychomotor disorders. The author describes how the psychomotor therapist can intervene in this situation with the aim of bringing the patient's state back into harmony. An enumeration of the different stages in the process of psychomotor care helps explain how this discipline, still little known in the field of psychotrauma, promotes resilience.
