52
The irreducible gap between “dream stories” and “dreamwork,” between the dream told and the dream dreamed, appears as a singular laboratory for identifying and understanding the registers of narrativity and narration. It helps us to comprehend their differences as well as their connections, within a permanent process of symbolization and subjectivation, in which the logics of the unconscious are played out, forged, and dialectized. Outside the dream process, this article proposes to export this dialectic “between narration and narrativity” to other sectors of psychic life or therapy.
