This work aims to demonstrate the relevance of Wallon’s psychology from a philosophical perspective. We begin by situating Wallon’s work within the history of psychology, emphasizing the dual nature of his academic background in philosophy and medicine, and showing how Wallon stands at the crossroads of several major developments in French psychology. Subsequently, we attempt to illustrate, through specific examples, how Wallon’s psychology involves a dialectical integration of various fields that contribute to the formation of the psyche, fields that are often considered distinct. Therefore, Wallon’s project emerges as genuinely “psycho-philosophical.”
