Women and Men in the Church: Welcoming Otherness, Growing in Synodality

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2022. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : This exchange between four women involved in the service of the diocesan Church or in Christian associations in Francophone Belgium offers us an insight into their views on the evolution of collaboration between women and men in the Church: a question that goes hand in hand with the relationship between lay people and priests. The women identify difficulties that they perceive, suggest pathways forward, and express their expectations. In addition to specific progress on certain points, what they share most of all is the desire to build a true partnership between women and men, which does not close us into stereotypical positions or unchangeable roles. In this way, the Church would gain much in otherness and synodality.
