The magazine Die Wehrmacht was one of the best-selling Nazi publications. Originally conceived by General Joachim von Stülpnagel, Die Wehrmacht was later taken over by the central publishing house of the NSDAP, where it was published in a German and in a foreign edition until 1944. The magazine attacked hard the Soviet Union in the 1930s/40s, with a break during the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact.
