In 2021, la Contemporaine bought El reloj, a tale written by a soviet author Leonid Panteleev. Although this copy is a Spanish translation, the work has still been a great witness of the 1920-1935 USSR. Analyzing the text underlines particularities of that time, as much as the topic (the homeless childhood) than the ideology. Those two points explain why the tale was quickly forgotten in its own country.
