In the Upper Rhine region, more and more French people are crossing the Swiss border for work. However, few studies have examined the career management of these individuals. Using the theoretical framework of Dahan and Dufour (2012), this qualitative survey conducted among forty-five French cross-border workers provides a better understanding of their career paths in German-speaking Switzerland and of the associated factors of success.
