Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2005. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Mauritania has been developing specific healthcare policies for a long time. Yet the country remains highly affected by major inequalities and difficulties concerning access to healthcare. In a first section, we propose an analytical framework following the capability approach and A. Sen's work, and we focus on different forms of access to healthcare. In a second section, we illustrate this framework using data from Mauritania. Finally, we conclude with the idea of a health threshold as a benchmark for access to healthcare by local populations.
