Natural disasters, which result from a combination of natural phenomena and the vulnerability of affected populations, result in many deaths and the massive destruction of infrastructures. In this type of context, the operational potential of humanitarian organizations depends primarily on logistics. This paper focuses on Doctors without Border's logistics, its performance, and the decisions taken in the case of the earthquake in Pakistan in October 2005.
