The bellow research is an attempt to approach the Secretariat of an international organization from a socio-historic point of view, here the League of Nations. It aims to interrogate the mechanisms at work while relating the experience and working conditions of a specific group of workers: women employees. In this regard, the research introduces the making of the Article 7 of the League’s Covenant, which allowed women to access every position in the organization, and questions its application.
