Transnational and Cultural Dimensions of Turkish Migrations in Europe

Turkish migrants tend to keep a common reference to their common origin, with a continuous fluidity between the homeland, the place of residence and places of transit. Common cultural features bring migrants together and allow them to participate in a shared collective economy. The government attempts to control them politically and religiously, but the higher education of the opponents gives them more influence. Although the groups are very diverse among this diaspora, the economic dimension of culture seems to dominate among them.
