The Guattari-Effect Through the Lens of Working-Class Neighborhoods

The mobilisations that have been emerging for several decades in the French working-class neighborhoods have taken place at a distance from the established structures of political enunciation. What we could consider, in Guattari’s vocabulary, as a movement of has taken place within the framework of specific power relations, invisibilized by the grammar of political conflicts. Identifying the elaborated in practice by mobilizations often considered off radar (“this is not politics”), imposes to “get out of the language” and to bypass the modes of signification which are also modes of confiscation. The tools bequeathed by Félix Guattari help us to confront a question that remains: does an irrepressible movement towards the transformation of the social relations of capitalism reside in this breach, dug in conflict with the “data” of domination, and thus a of subjectivations and practices towards this objective?
