Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2010. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In this article, the social protest movement named lkp that started off in January 2009 in Guadeloupe is described : the setting, those taking part, the sequence of events, the claims, the course of negotiations as well as the modes of action. The impact of this movement on the society in Guadeloupe and on the inhabitants’ conscience is also analyzed. Further, two psychological processes recently mentioned in a study on the subjective relation to work in Guadeloupe, the collective strategy of defence, that depends upon the resistance and disobedience towards salaried work as well as the assignation of the colour of the skin, are analysed in relation to this social movement. It is shown how these processes may have contributed to lkp’s birth. Finally, the limits of this type of action for the emancipation of people at work and in their families are developed.
