Employees’ health at work is seriously deteriorating in many companies because of psychosocial risks related to work organization and to management methods. This paper sheds light on the resources of various sources of the law (European law, jurisprudence, collective agreements) and the attributions of the actors (information and consultation, alert, expertise). It identifies the causes of these situations and attempts to protect employees’ health. French law, due to the contributions of European law, offers resources to assess these risks and their causes and to ensure sound prevention by applying often innovative prevention principles and, if not, by allowing the repair, at least partial, of damages, and the punishment of illegal behaviors.
