Some young people use the Web interface as a diary where they express their despair in forms that are sometimes disturbing to readers. Were such messages intended for somebody else? Can the remote feedback they receive be considered a form of therapy? Whereas from an individual point of view, online communication can play a preventive role, on a collective level, the publication of exchanges between professionals and young people can help to transmit the fact that suicidal thoughts should always be taken seriously. However, it is up to the clinician to propose a therapeutic setting based on affect relations able to go beyond the “dead-end” of the adolescent crisis.
