Considering the conciliar event as a liturgical event allows us to understand in the most unified possible way, the content, method and form of the teachings of Vatican II. It is a matter of discovering, in liturgical terms, the Church in the act of writing the tradition in order to apprehend the interpretation of the Council as an act of the Church entering into the liturgical enunciation of her own faith. Then the attempt is made to consider this liturgical act of the writing of the tradition as a model of every theological act.
