Reason and revelation: a philosophical anthropology of religions
Type de matériel :
71
While the classic problem of the relationship between faith and reason sometimes envisages the latter only as a faculty of knowledge, at the risk of limiting faith to its doctrinal content, this article seeks to broaden the scope towards the other two Kantian questions: “What should I do?” and: “What can I hope for?” It therefore invites us to confront philosophical reason thus understood not only with faith, but also with charity and hope. It is under the horizon of the whole theological life that a union is attempted here without confusion or separation between philosophical reason and Christian revelation.
