The A. maintains that the Khiliasmos/Katechon dichotomy, or revolution/conservation, forms a fundamental polarity which helps for the grasping of the fundamental issues specific to the contemporary era. In order to defend this thesis, he first explores each of these categories before highlighting their contemporary avatar: on the one hand, the organization which constitutes the spearhead of the industrialist and managerial project, on the other the institution whose raison d’être can be defined as the maintenance of symbolic and social order.
