Environmental risks in 2020: state of fate and outcomes from a prospective reflection meeting at INRAE

The objective includes disaster risks, physical and chemical risks, and risks for ecosystems. The outcomes of this review are put into perspective with regard to the needs of national and international research in this field and the current context of environmental emergency. The analysis highlights the interest of a holistic and integrated approach to environmental risks including the entire domain considered and the need to address environmental risks in a sustainability science perspective to overcome the associated challenges.
