The Way Loss is Treated by Children Presenting Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2016. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : By analysing tat and cat protocols gathered from 36?children between 6 and 12?years of age, and diagnosed with adhd (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) using ds-5 criteria and encountered in a Center of Reference for Learning Disabilities, our aim has been to pick out the different modalities used to treat loss in this specific clinical situation. The work carried out in an earlier collective article (Chagnon et coll., 2011) will serve as a methodological anchor point for our analysis which focuses on the study of modalities of the representation of absence, and determines the child’s capacities for mentally dealing with loss. Three configurations have been found in connection with the degree of object interiorisation, with the possibility (or not) of summoning them when they are absent and with the models of depression proposed by Delisle and Brunet (2008): non symbolising narcissistic depression, melancholic depression and symbolising narcissistic depression.
