Type de matériel :
1
The authors propose clinical research data about the psychic functioning of adolescents siblings of children with autism. The aim of the article is to show the contribution of projective methods toward understanding the psychic strengths and weaknesses of these adolescents on the basis of a singular clinical case study. A review of the literature makes it possible to clarify the issues involved for these normal young people developing in an abnormal environment and the two projective personality tests (Rorschach and tat) offer information about self-esteem, self-image, narcissism and body-image. The self-image of these adolescents is clearly altered and its different componants are weakened and create notable disadaptations. Relational withdrawal tends to dominate when the subject must deal with affective issues which always emerge at this time of life. Research possibilities and preventive propositions are also suggested.
