Hermann Rorschach: interpreting or defining forms? A path towards better understanding autism
Type de matériel :
1
In this article, H. Rorschach’s research is examined from several perspectives : historical, epistemological and the clinical approach of autism. The different perceptual apprehensions observed by Rorschach question the clinic of autism and the constructions of body image. When faced with the material some patients simply define the forms, others seek to interpret them. These different modes of apprehension gave rise to several lines of analysis in Rorschach, taken up by the author of this article who put them to the test in the clinic of autism. The different themes studied are the integration of spatial rhythm, inner perceptions and their projections, intimate resonance and its various factors as well as access to formal regression. They are put into perspective to capture the resources and/or the narcissistic barriers in autistic functioning. These reflections constitute paths of research for a better understanding of autistic functioning by proposing new insights one hundred years after Rorschach’s discoveries.
