The care of extremely premature babies has progressed over the last few years thanks to medical and technological advances. These advances have made it possible to reduce mortality and morbidity and lowered the limit of viability. As a result, several countries have redefined the thresholds of administration of care depending on gestational age, parents’ opinions, and external factors. In this article, we will explore current Belgian practices and compare them with recent data from the literature and international practices.
