Türkiye’s foreign policy choices aim to expand the country’s strategic autonomy, by diversifying its partnerships, extending its presence in new geopolitical spaces, and using all available means of soft power, be they economic, industrial, or cultural. Along with Russia, Ankara is making its presence felt in Ukraine, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, creating a growing uneasiness among its traditional Western allies.
