Our organizations have been undergoing constant change for many decades. In fact, our hospitals have had to look for more and more effective ways to meet the increasingly precise requirements of the supervisory authorities, for better efficiency in the provision of care. This is how solutions, initially from the industrial world, have been added to our quality and management tools in order to respond in an even more efficient and precise manner to the needs of a patient population on an increasingly extended geographical territory. Management by process has emerged as a response to the handling of ever more complex and numerous pathologies in hospitals that are increasingly on the cutting edge of scientific research. In this context of reorganization and hospital consolidation, we sought to explore how management by process can, in certain cases, help managers to get their teams to accept changes.
