To face the evolution of hospital organization and its specificities, the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (Luxembourg Hospital Center) decided to innovate by integrating a new function: the Liaison Nurse. After deployment in two pilot units, the establishment wished to evaluate the impacts of this new function, in readiness for its generalization. We combined qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for this work. The systemic approach allowed us to identify the evaluation criteria and their grouping in the most exhaustive way possible. From the 51 collaborators’ evaluations, it was clear that the project has been a success, with all stakeholders perceiving positive impacts. The recommendations concern the employee’s skills in relation to function, the distinction of medical specialties, and the recognition of the innovation’s added value.
